- The petition is dated to c. 1318 on the basis of related references in the patent rolls by which part of te lands of Corry were granted to another recipient on 8 October 1317, and another involving the petitioner concerning the presentation of a clerk to the church of Kirklinton on 2 July 1318 (CPR 1317-21, pp.43, 165).
