- The petition is dated to c. 1318, as it seems likely that the petitioner failed to find his sustenance at Durham Priory and was subsequently sent to Revesby Abbey (CCR. 1318-23, pp.212, 565). It is possible that this petition is part of the group of petitions that formed an original file at the end of file 318 dating to 1318-1319.
