- Dreiton requests that the king put an end to the indictment made against him by Drayton, firstly for the distraint that Dreiton made of 9 oxen for rent that Drayton owed him and which was in arrears, and which Drayton alleged was made by force and arms, and for a further indictment for the death of a man by which Drayton has occupied and retains all Dreiton's lands and tenements, and chattels.

- The petition is dated to c. 1318 as it probably closely relates to a commission of oyer and terminer issued in response to complaints by the petitioner (CPR 1317-21, p.177). It is possible is part of the group of petitions that formed an original file dated to 1318-1319 at the end of file 318.
