The petition dates to 1324 as the petitioner was granted 100s. in aid of her expenses resulting from destruction by the Scots on 1 July 1324 (CCW 1244-1326, p.558). It is possible that this petition is actually considerably earlier than this date and dates to 1318-1319 and is part of the group of petitions that formed an original file at the end of file 318.
