It is suggested that great profit would accrue to the king if he assigns certain justices to enquire of the goods and chattels of felons concealed in prejudice of the king, and reciting the case of William le Messager who was attached in London and became an appealer and was eventually allowed to escape after his goods were given to Hertyngg, with whom they still reside.
