Nature of request
The dean and canons request that the justices render judgment or that the king be put in such possession of their chapel as the king's father had, and that a writ be directed to the sheriff to maintain the king in his possession. They complained in parliament of the actions of the bishop of Exeter to the chapel to the disinheritance of the king and the justices were commanded by writ to bring the record before the council, but nothing has been done.
