- Servat and Redolee, late of the company of Cadurci, request remedy that they be granted a fieri facias without delay concerning the remaining sum still owed by the abbot of Pipewell, the king having already received part of the debt and making allowance to the abbot. The abbot acknowledged himself obliged to the petitioners in the sum but the debt was taken into the king's hand because of the war with the king of France, and the abbot has answered their previous writ that he should not answer them because they were not then in the king's allegiance.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1300 as the petition clearly relates to arbitrated dispute of 1291, but as the petition seems to be during a time of continental warfare, a date of c. 1300 seems more appropriate. In addition the hand looks later than 1291 (CCR 1288-96, pp.192-5).
