Nature of request
Prohibition by the King to the abbot of Beaulieu against holding in Court Christian the plea brought by the prior of Christchurch against the prior and convent of Breamore concerning the tithes of their demesne lands in the New Forest, which the prior and convent of Breamore claim by the gift of Henry III to Simon, late prior of Breamore, and the prior of Christchurch claims as of his church of Boldre. Dated at Westminster 6 March 1 [Edward II] [1308].
