Nature of request
Dirland requests that Tyliol, Brune, Dacre and Lucy, three or two of them be assigned to hear and determine the trespasses made by Weston and others who have taken to provision the castle of Carlisle his carts and horses and only returned them for a fine, and his cattle and other goods and chattels without warrant. Because of the duress of Robert the Bruce they are unable live without remedy.
