[Petition in two parts:]1) Leyburn requests that he be assigned the issues of the manor of Cockermouth which he has in his custody for the sum of £500 and more in which the king is indebted to him having regard for his service to the king and his father.2) Leyburn requests a writ to the escheator to oust his hand from the manor [of Uldale] and that the petitioner be restored to the manor which was Stuart's, a rebel of the king, as he was granted it to pay a debt due to him but the king subsequently gave the manor to Badlesmere, though he was never seized and the escheator has arrested the issues of the manor.

The petition is dated to c. 1315-c. 1318 on the basis that the manor of Uldale was committed to Leyburn on 4 March 1315, and the manor of Cockermouth was committed to Anthony de Lucy on 10 December 1318, so that the petition must date between those dates [CFR 1307-19, pp.237, 386].
