Sein Johan request that the debts that are currently on demand upon him from the time of his father be discharged for the great costs, expenses, losses and mischiefs that he suffered in the king's service, carrying messages, acting as hostage, as lieutenant of Gascony during the war there, imprisoned by the king of France, and in the Scottish war.
