Hastyngges requests that the keepers of Glamorgan are commanded to make redress and amends for the trespasses and damages done to him and his people in the manner that such trespasses are redressed in those parts as in revenge for Hastyngges and his men's actions against a revolt by the Welsh, the Welsh of Glamorgan, Senghenydd and Machen have entered Bergavenny by day and night and killed and driven-out his people.
