Nature of request
Wygeton requests that he can hold the lands in the manor of Waverton of which Muncaster died seised, he being Wygeton's tenant and in his homage, as he entered the land on Muncaster's death without heirs as chief lord, but the escheater ousted him for the reason that Muncaster's heir of the blood resides in Scotland. Wygeton has been destroyed and burnt by the Scots and has served the king with all his power in Scotland and requests that he can hold the land for the extent until the king ordains otherwise.
