Nature of request
The abbot and convent request remedy as they were granted the manors of Burle and Clopton for the sum of 1,000 marks that they paid for the king to the Pope to hold to them until the sum is satisfied but they have been unable to obtain seisin. They ask for regard to be given that they let several of their manors for life for the payment of the 1,000 marks which manors were assigned for their sustenance.
