Nature of request
Kendale requests remedy as an inquisition procured wrongfully by Coterel has enslaved her land and given her marriage to him for his false suit. She obtained her inheritance following an inquisition but Coterel approached the Exchequer and claimed that her land was held not for a money sum but by a hauberk fee and following another inquisition that also found in the petitioner's favour, by gifts and procurement Coterel obtained another inquisition which found contrary to law.
