Nature of request
Lestraunge states that the king granted him that he could have a general attorney because of his infirmity, and the attorney died within a year after this grant, and afterwards the king at his parliament of Lincoln pardoned him his issues after the death of his attorney, and so commanded the treasurer. Lestraunge requests of this the record of the treasurer and the writ of pardon.
Nature of endorsement
He should come . . .and sue at the Exchequer in the morrow of Michaelmas and show his sum of foreign issues and the treasurer will write to the king for the same.
