Maydenstane requests allowance of sums for his costs in the sum that he owes the king for the arrears of a tenth of which he was collector in the province of York as his mainpernors are grievously distrained.1)

He should come to the Exchequer in the quindene of Michaelmas and make account and a just allowance will be made to him.2) By the hand of Master John de Kam.
