Nature of request
The people request that the king will grant and command that they are able to have their franchises which were lost before Cressingham in the last eyre. They were granted the liberties by the king's father, but the present king granted them to the earl of Lancaster and he promised to restore them.
Nature of endorsement
Let Cressingham's rolls be examined at the Exchequer and the liberties and the reason for their taking should be considered, and it is to be done if it is to the king's profit.
