The master and brethren request remedy as they are newly assessed for the fifteenth though they have been previously exempt and this will damage their obligation to pilgrims and the sustenance of the hospital.1)
Nature of endorsement
To the Exchequer, and they should show there what they have for themselves as to why they should not be taxed etc.2) Bray.
