The abbot requests the king's will concerning the demand for account made by the treasurer for the office of escheator of Cheshire which was granted to Brother Robert by the king in the time of Abbot John, the issues being for the king's works at Vale Royal, and also for grievous distraint made by Godele on their church of Kirkham which is against the custom of Cheshire where they reside.
