The prior and convent request grace as the king takes all but £21 15s. 10½d. from the value that their temporalities and spiritualities are assessed at and they are charged a great deal by the reason of their priory since it is in the common passage of the land and they are charged with trespassing people.
Nature of endorsement
They should go to the Exchequer and show the state of their house, and the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer will ordain according to what by their discretion ought to be done.S [Exchequer].
