Cokyngton and his fellow taxers request council and aid as they have been unable to levy all of the fifteenth from the ordinaries of the bishop of Exeter who have excommunicated them, and from hundreds held by great lords, and from the company of the Frescobaldi who hold the mines without special warrant.
