The clerks and lay people request grace and remedy from the king and queen as they have bought various goods and chattels from the king such as corn and animals and the queen's people have distrained them for her gold from those goods and chattels bought by their money.1)
Nature of endorsement
Coram consilio.2) Master Robert, keeper of the queen's gold should be called before the council.3) Those who consider themselves aggrieved should come and be heard and justice should be done to them.4) Let it remain at the Exchequer.
