Nature of request
Sandervyle requests remedy as he has done homage and fealty to the king for a knight's fee as his ancestors made before him to the countess of Aumale but relief is demanded on four fees whereof his ancestors paid only for one. He is a poor man and has already been put to great expense on this business since the death of his father.1)
Nature of endorsement
He is to go to the exchequer and pay his relief for the fee which he acknowledges and he is to sue for an enquiry concerning the three fees to his exoneration according to what the court adjudges. In the meantime he is to have respite on those three fees.2) It is not enrolled.
