Nature of request
Ferers requests that the arrears of the fine made by Douglas for her marriage be levied of his lands of his manor of Fawdon, and not those that she had from William de Ferrers in dower as she is distrained by the sheriff of Essex by summons of the Exchequer for the arrears.
Nature of endorsement
She should go to the Exchequer and if it is found that the fine was made in the name of a marritagium, then let due remedy be made so that she is not distrained in her dower, and in the meantime she should have respite.Enrolled on the memoranda roll.S [Exchequer].
