Nature of request
Molecastre requests that he is able to make approvements in the manor of Bolton in Allerdale which he holds for life for £40 per annum, as without these he will be unable to hold the manor at farm any longer.1)
Nature of endorsement
If it is held at will by farm he should render the farm or render the manor to the king etc., and he should make his approvements when he considers it expedient.2) Let it remain at the Exchequer.
