Writ to the sheriff of Yorkshire, dated at Balsham on 6 April 1302, commanding him to hold an inquisition by oaths of law-worthy men concerning the tenements that the Lescots held from the Lascelles in South Cowton which have come into the hand of the king who were rebels.
