Nature of request
The master and brethren request the king's grace of 70 marks which the ministers of the queen levied from them for her gold, because the master and brethren gave the king 700 marks for their fifteenth from their goods and those of their villains and before these hours no gold has been levied for the queen.
Nature of endorsement
This should be considered at the Exchequer and if the fine was made and if it is thus then let it stand, and if not they should wait.S [Exchequer].
