SC 8/313/E106
Date
[1302]
Description
Petitioners
None.
Addressees
King and council.
Nature of request
It is requested that a series of measures [fully detailed] are introduced for the more profitable production of light cloth in the hundreds of South Erpingham and Tunstead.[It is very probable that this petition actually formed part of a longer request that incorporated another copy of SC 8/313/E105 as part of a line that appears to be the last line of that petition survives along the top edge].
Nature of endorsement
Let it remain in parliament.
Places mentioned
South Erpingham hundred, [Norfolk]
Tunstead hundred, [Norfolk]
Worstead, [Norfolk]
Felmingham, [Norfolk]
Swanton Abbot, [Norfolk]
Skeyton, [Norfolk].
Note
The petition dates to 1302 as a Latin summary of the petition was enrolled on a parliament roll now identified as coming from the summer parliament of 1302 (PROME, Roll 12, Introduction, and Text/Translation).
