Nature of request
Copy of letters patent granting to the abbot and convent that in times of vacancy the prior and convent should hold the abbey and its lands and goods.1)
Nature of endorsement
The two petitions should he heard before all the council, and let the clerk and attorney of the queen be called to hear their reasons.2) It is answered within the petition.3) Let it remain.
