Windesore requests that the king write to the bishop of Salisbury so that he is not troubled by further summons of the bishop as the bishop has summoned him for judgments that he and Randolf rendered in the gaol delivery of the gaol of Berkshire at Windsor against Apeldurfeld and Underwood, two appealers.1)
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege et toto consilio because it touches the crown and the dignity of the king.2) He should go to the bishop and find what the bishop wishes to say against him, and thence certify the king, and the king will appoint an appropriate council.3) Let it remain.
