Copy of a charter of Richard I granting to Bowet the church of Brough which is vacant, the right pertaining to the king by the vacancy at St Mary's, York, which is in the king's hand.1)
Nature of endorsement
They should show their right before the king's council and the king will do what the council consider ought to be done.2) Coram rege.3) Let it remain.
