Nature of request
The abbot requests that certain land which is in the king's hand after the death of Wymundeham be returned to him as he enfeoffed Wymundeham of a tenement in London but Wymundeham subsequently usurped a neighbouring piece of land belonging to the abbot. The abbot impleaded Wymundeham for the land but Wymundeham died while the plea was pending.
