- Gorges requests that the king will make restoration to him for the horses that he and his father lost in the king's service in Gascony in lands or by other means.1)

- It was ordered by writ of the king to Cambridge and Sandale that they should certify the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer, and they answered that they were ignorant of the loss because Cambridge was at Bayonne at that time and Sandale was in England and has not yet returned to Gascony.2) Let it remain.

- The petition is dated to? 1302 as the majority of petitions in this file probably date to this year. In addition reference was made to Thomas de Cambridge and John de Sandale who were clerks assigned to audit the accounts and claims of the king's stipendiaries in the duchy for wages and compensation for horses and were certainly active in April 1301 (CPR 1292-1301, p.586).
