Nature of request
The chaplain requests remedy as he was attached in the liberty in Westminster and sent to Newgate which is in the liberty of London and he has been unable by writ of the king or other commandment to come before the justices for three years.1)

It is answered to the petition of the abbot of Westminster requesting restitution of the body of the chaplain that it be made to him as ordinary of that place etc.2) Let it remain.
