Hastinges requests that the king will render to him the manors that were delivered to his ancestors for their part of [the earldom of] Chester as he requested them at the parliament of Lincoln and is ready to show his charters of the king.

Note
The petition is dated to c. 1302 as the copy of letters patent of Henry III that formerly accompanied the petition has a note recording its examination at the parliament held at Westminster 30 July 30 Edw [I] which may or may not be an examination contemporary with the petition (SC 8/313/E55).
