- Rote requests remedy as he impleaded Kirkby by writ of entry for 30 acres of wood before the justices at York and on the point of judgment in his favour Kirkby purchased a protection to delay the judgment claiming that he was going to the Scottish war, and he has not gone, and he has cut the wood and carried it away to Rote's great damage.1)

- Coram consilio because it is not yet settled.2) He should sue before the justice of whatsoever bench and the barons of the Exchequer before whom the protection was granted to whom the king has ordered that upon this they do remedy that by the king and council is thence provided.3) Concerning a false protection for a plea.
