[Petition in 5 parts:]1) The commonalty complain of Sutton for arresting a ship of Boston and detaining it until the master paid him 20s.2) The commonalty complain of Sutton's arrest of Bony and allowing him to take bad money out of the town by his licence.3) They complain of Sutton who purchased an assize of novel disseisin against Fitz Thomas for the commonalty but caused them to be amerced for their none-suit.4) They complain that Sutton is a maintainer of false quarrels, a sustainer of pleas and an abettor a bad litigation and for his misuse of courts.5) They complain of le Clerk and Gesters who were assigned to Boston to take all bad money coming from overseas, but they refused to act against Fitz Alexander and others who notoriously brought such money into the haven.
