- The petition dates to c. 1295 as the detail of a bequest by Cornhill to his sister was enrolled on the records of the court of Husting, dating to 12 March 1295; evidently Cornhill was dead by then (Calendar of Wills proved and enrolled in the Court of Husting, London, AD. 1258-AD 1688., ed. R.R. Sharpe, Part I, AD.1258-AD. 1358 (London, 1889), p.119).
