Nature of request
The people of St Macaire request a charter permitting them to sell wine in taverns year-round. It is currently the custom in the town that for fifteen days in May only the King's ministers can sell wine in taverns.
Nature of endorsement
Because the King was not certified if this would be to the damage of him or others, he has sent the seneschal a writ ad quod dampnum and ordered him to do swift justice.
