William Arnold, Lord of Auros requests:1) payment of several debts due to his father and brother, former lords of Auros, by Henry III and Edward I, to be paid from the issues of the provostship of Entre-deux-Mers, with the petitioner holding the office of provost until the debts are fully paid; 2) restoration of Saint-Sulpice-de Pomiers, Fount Doute, Berthes and Labarthe, which pertain to his castle of Auros but which Havering, without reason, seised into the hand of the King's father;3) that the seneschal of Gascony redress the forfeiture recently made by Saumerac who wrongly administered supreme justice in Berthes and built new gallows.

Note
The petition dates to after 1308 when John de Havering ceased being seneschal of Gascony and to before c. 1316 by which time the petitioner was deceased (SC 8/257/12840). Gascon Roles 1307-17 no.1455 is dated 1 October 1315, and no.1549 and no.1552 are dated 12 May 1316: any could be in response to this petition.
