- Le Ylle requests that the King order the constable of Dover to act upon his document in which Vere, as prior of St John of Jerusalem in England, bound himself and his successors to the petitioner in 18 marks annual rent for Cocklescombe, so that in cases of non-payment Le Ylle could enter and hold the manor and the constable of Dover could distrain the prior's goods, taking 40s. for each such distraint. Joseph, the current prior, refuses to pay.
