Nature of request
Edward and Margaret Pomeray request that a writ be directed to Thomas Pomeray to appear before the Duke on the quinzaine of Holy Trinity next to show why they should not be restored to their possession of the manor of Tregony. The petitioners had held the manor for 14 years until during the King's present voyage Thomas entered the manor with 200 armed men, imprisoned Margaret for two days and ousted the petitioners. They also request that a writ be directed to the sheriff of Devon to proclaim Thomas's appearance on that day, on pain of £100.

On 5 July in the 7th year [1419] the council agreed that a writ be directed to Pomeray to be before the council at Westminster on the quinzaine of Michaelmas next to answer etc., do etc. and receive etc.
