Nature of request
Writ of Richard II, dated 9 September in the 8th year of his reign [1384], to the mayor and bailiffs of Dartmouth to inquire into and settle the case described by Campion's petition.
Nature of endorsement
The mayor and bailiffs of Dartmouth answer that Cradley has no lands, tenements, goods or chattels in their bailiwick, nor was he found there since he left for Bayonne a long time before they received this writ.
