Cusance requests that whereas he and Montague agreed that this next voyage overseas would comprise a banneret, 6 knights, 13 squires, 12 men at arms and 12 archers for wages amounting to £76 for 40 days, for which sacks of wool (each worth 10 marks) were assigned in Suffolk for the King's household, that the chancellor grant writs thereon.

Let it be noted that Cusance said in Chancery that Montague was owed £40 which remains beyond the value of the said wool.
