Nature of request
The merchants of Lucca request letters of safe-conduct for two years so that they, their factors, attorneys, servants, ships, vessels, goods, merchandises and mariners can come into England and the King's other lordships to trade.
Nature of endorsement
On 26 October in the sixth year [1418] it was agreed by the council that the merchants of Lucca should have letters of safe-conduct for one year, according to the contents of this petition, with the necessary clauses in due form.
