Bolthorpp requests that whereas she sued an action of debt against West in the Guildhall before the mayor of London by Irby, her attorney, in which West pretended a false plea against her by which she was fined £40 to Linton and imprisoned in Newgate where she remained for over 7 years until delivered by the King's writ by four pledges, after which she demanded her obligation from Irby but he would not give it to her, that she may have a letter asking the chancellor to cause Irby to come before him and restore her obligation or pay her its value of 10 marks, and that she can have the obligation so that West can be arrested for the said sum.
