Fynk, Clambek and Heynson request delivery of money which is in the hand of Ravenser, and which is the sum raised by the sale of their lasts of Herrings which were in a ship called 'Seinte Marie Knyght' which was seized by Wille and Rawe off of the Isle of Wight and taken to Weymouth. They requested delivery before, and were promised it by the council if they could produce letters testimonial, and now they have they still have not received delivery.

Memorandum that in the octave of Holy Trinity that because Fynk, attorney of Clambek and Heynson, showed several letters testimonial before the council certifying the goods and chattels that ought to pertain to the merchants by which the council decreed that the £105 in the hand of Ravenser be delivered to the merchants by which Ravenser by the order of the chancellor delivered the money to them.

Note
The petition is dated to c. 1387 as a response to what appears to be another petition by one of the petitioners on a closely related matter dates to November 1387 (CPR 1385-9, p.394). As the matter was clearly not settled by March 1388, it is possible that the petition dates to then or later (CCR 1385-9, p.387).
