Nature of request
The consuls and other merchants request that the customers of London be charged not to demand the custom and subsidy on 6 bales of cloth which Cunteryn charged on a ship to Sandwich to be loaded on a Venetian galley there, but which were returned to London because they could not be charged on the galley. The custom was paid but the customers demand it again.
