Claysson requests that he be granted letters patent to the admirals, mayors sheriffs and other officials of the king commanding that in whatsoever port, town or place that his ship is found that it be delivered to him with all its equipment as it was hired by Sevenoaks and others to go to Teignmouth and it was raided by the French who took their English pilot and all the goods of the English away, and by several men of Eastbourne who seized the ship.
